Puerto Galera: A must-see


Puerto Galera is the northwesternmost municipality in the Province of Oriental Mindoro. It is the only bay in the Philippines that is listed by the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World.

The coastal town is famous among tourists for its breathtaking beaches. Sabang Beach is the main destination for foreigners.
Beaches range from powder white sand to grainy dark sand. Most of them can reach over land.

Puerto Galera is also popular for snorkeling, Scuba diving and other water sports. The coastal town is considered the top diving destination in the country.
Puerto Galera has some of the most diverse coral reefs in Asia. UNESCO designated the town as a Man and Biosphere Reserve in 1973.

Other must-see places in Puerto Galera include the Hidden Valley, the Mangyan Village, Muelle Bay, the Tamaraw Waterfalls, and the Reptile Zoo.
